Actor Jamie Foxx has revealed that he had a “near-death experience” and spent weeks in a coma during his 2023 health crisis, which left him hospitalized. Foxx, who is set to premiere the special next Tuesday, told an audience at a taping in early October that he was unconscious for two to three weeks after passing out on-set while working on his upcoming film “Back in Action” with Cameron Diaz. He said that if he hadn’t received timely medical treatment, he would have died.
The actor revealed that his family kept him alive during his coma, including one of his daughters who played guitar next to his hospital bed.
