Jared Leto Denies Allegations of Sexual Misconduct from Multiple Women

Jared Leto has been accused of sexual misconduct by nine women, including a 2012 Facebook post that resurfaced on Instagram. The allegations were published in an investigation by Air Mail, which claimed that Leto was known for texting teenage models and making sexual remarks to young women.

Leto’s representative denied the allegations, stating that he has been sober for over 35 years and that his communications with some of the accusers contain nothing inappropriate. However, one of the women claims it’s been an open secret that Leto is known for this behavior, and another said she was approached by him when she was 16.

The incident resurfaced last month when Los Angeles DJ Allie Teilz reshared her Facebook post, which claimed that Leto assaulted her at a party when she was 17. Other women who claim to have been in similar interactions with Leto include Laura La Rue and a fourth woman who said his advances ramped up after she turned 18.

Leto has denied the allegations and claims that all of them are “expressly denied” by his representative. The singer and actor, known for his method acting approach, has previously faced criticism for his behavior on set, including allegedly sending strange gifts to his co-stars.

The accusations against Leto come as he faces a new challenge in his personal life, following a recent health scare that raised concerns about his well-being.
