Jason Momoa has undergone a shocking transformation as he shaved off his iconic beard in preparation for the upcoming third installment of the “Dune” franchise. The DC superhero, 45, took to Instagram to show off his new look, jokingly referring to director Denis Villeneuve.
The highly anticipated film is currently in production and aims for a December 2026 theatrical release. Momoa’s 16-year-old son Nakoa-Wolf is also part of the cast. The actor has been promoting his family-friendly water brand, Mananalu, which focuses on reducing single-use plastic waste.
Momoa shared that it’s been six years since he last shaved and said he’s proud of his son for taking on a new role in the film industry. The actor expressed admiration for Nakoa-Wolf’s confidence and independence, stating that he could not have achieved what his son has at such a young age.
