Jay-Z Accused of Sexual Assault in Amended Lawsuit with Sean Combs

A woman who initially accused Sean “Diddy” Combs of sexual assault has amended her lawsuit to include allegations that she was also assaulted by Jay-Z at the same party. The lawsuit, filed against Combs in October, now names Jay-Z as a co-defendant.

The woman, identified as Jane Doe, alleges she was 13 years old when she was allegedly assaulted by both Combs and Jay-Z at an after-party following the Video Music Awards in 2000. According to the lawsuit, Doe began feeling woozy after consuming a drink and wandered into a nearby bedroom, where Carter allegedly raped her first, followed by Combs.

Jay-Z responded to the initial lawsuit by filing an “utterly frivolous” counter-lawsuit and orchestrating a conspiracy of harassment, bullying, and intimidation against Doe’s lawyers and their families. However, his efforts failed, as Doe’s attorneys revealed they had reached out to Carter for mediation to resolve the matter.

Carter recently called the allegations “so heinous in nature that I implore you to file a criminal complaint, not a civil one,” but later stated that his only heartbreak was for his family, claiming the situation would cause harm to his children. The woman’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, denied claims of extortion against him and his firm, stating they would not allow powerful individuals to silence sexual assault survivors.

The case highlights a growing trend of celebrities being held accountable for alleged sex crimes. As the investigation unfolds, it remains to be seen how Jay-Z will respond to these allegations and what consequences he may face.
