Jay-Z Accuses Lawyer of Racketeering in Civil Lawsuit

Jay-Z has accused an alleged rape victim’s lawyer, Tony Buzbee, of racketeering and barratry in a civil lawsuit. The rapper is representing himself in the case, which claims that he and Sean “Diddy” Combs raped a 13-year-old girl in New York in 2000.

Buzbee filed court documents on Wednesday accusing Jay-Z’s team of trying to bribe clients and claiming that they are attempting to intimidate him. He also accused Jay-Z’s lawyer Alex Spiro of making false claims about his client and trying to destroy evidence.

In response, Jay-Z’s lawyers asked a federal judge to dismiss the civil case against their client. They claim that Buzbee’s allegations are “wholly unreliable” due to factual inconsistencies and a lack of corroborating evidence.

Buzbee has denied these claims, saying that Jay-Z’s team is trying to distract him from other lawsuits he has filed. He also claimed that his firm was targeted by investigators working for Roc Nation, with offers ranging from $1,000 to $10,000.

The case is ongoing, with Buzbee taking to social media to accuse Jay-Z of bullying and intimidating him. A spokesperson for Quinn Emanuel, the law firm representing Jay-Z, called the lawsuit “frivolous” and said that they have no idea what Buzbee is talking about.
