Jay-Z and Diddy Faced with New Allegations After Judge Dismisses Dismissal Bid

A US judge has rejected a bid by rapper Jay-Z to dismiss sexual assault allegations against him and fellow musician Sean “Diddy” Combs. The case, filed by an underage girl known as “Jane Doe,” accuses both men of raping her at a party in New York in 2000.

Judge Analisa Torres denied the dismissal request, criticizing lawyer Alex Spiro for using “inflammatory language” and “ad hominem attacks.” Torres ruled that Doe’s anonymity will be maintained despiteSpiro’s earlier demand to make her public figure.

The allegations come after several other men have been accused of similar misconduct. Jay-Z recently responded by calling on prosecutors to file criminal complaints, saying the accusations against him were “heinous” and deserved serious punishment.
