Jay-Z’s Lawyer Denies Allegations of Sexual Assault

Jay-Z’s lawyer, Alex Spiro, has continued to defend his client after being named in a lawsuit filed by Sean “Diddy” Combs over allegations of sexual assault against a 13-year-old girl. Spiro stated that the accusations against Jay-Z are “provably, demonstrably false,” referencing NBC News’ recent interview with the unnamed Alabama woman who made the allegations.

Spiro argued that the inconsistencies in her story were not minor and that it’s unlikely the incident occurred given the time frame. He also emphasized that his client is upset over the situation, particularly that real victims are being distracted and discouraged from coming forward.

When asked about Jay-Z’s relationship with Combs, Spiro stated that they knew each other professionally but had no closer association, which he described as a matter of fiction. He maintained that Jay-Z has nothing to do with the case and is not aware of any charges or allegations against him.

The Alabama woman, Jane Doe, recently admitted to making “some mistakes” in her account of the alleged assault, but maintains that the accusations against Jay-Z are true. Her lawyer, Tony Buzbee, stated that his client remains adamant about her claim and will continue to vet her claims with corroborating data.

Jay-Z himself has also spoken out on the matter, saying that the incident did not occur and that he’s fighting for true justice. The lawsuit accuses Jay-Z and Combs of raping a 13-year-old girl in 2000, and Buzbee vowed to continue fighting for his client despite the challenges she is facing.
