JD Vance Blames Europe for Iraq War, Tries to Downplay College Football Trophy Mishap

JD Vance, the US Vice President, has reignited controversy by blaming European countries for not stopping the 2003 invasion of Iraq. Vance, a military journalist during the war, claimed that if European nations had been more independent and willing to stand up, the US might have been able to avoid the conflict.

However, in an interview with Unheard, Vance also expressed his admiration for Europe and its people. He emphasized the importance of European countries operating independently from the US, stating that it’s not good for them to be a permanent security vassal of the United States.

The comments come after Vance accidentally broke a College Football Playoff National Championship trophy during a live broadcast at the White House. The mishap occurred when Vance was presenting the trophy to Ohio State Buckeyes running back TreVeyon Henderson.

Despite attempting to downplay the incident, Vance’s gaffe sparked widespread ridicule on social media, with many users calling him an “embarrassment” and labeling him a “moron.” Some joked that Vance’s mishap symbolized the Trump Administration’s impact on the US, while others defended his actions by pointing out that the trophy is a two-piece design.

Vance, 40, was seen joking about breaking the trophy to avoid Ohio State from getting it. However, many users disputed this explanation and instead focused on his apparent lack of coordination during the ceremony.
