JD Vance has taken to X to respond to the latest episode of South Park, which brutally took aim at the Trump administration. The second episode of the 27th season of the animated show featured a parody of Vice President Vance and several other high-profile figures.
Vance responded by writing “Well, I’ve finally made it” on X. The post comes after the episode included a mini-version of Vance waiting on President Donald Trump in bed with Satan. The show also poked fun at Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem and conservative activist Charlie Kirk.
The episode was part of South Park’s long-standing tradition of using satire to critique current events and politics. In this case, the show took aim at the financial struggles of Mr. Mackey after he was laid off from his job and his suggestion to join Immigration and Customs Enforcement due to its high salaries.
Vance’s response on X suggests that he is aware of the joke and is taking it in stride. Fellow Trump campaign alum Matt Mowers responded by saying being featured on South Park was a “key life milestone appreciated by any millennial.”
