Reality TV host and actor Jeffrey Dean Morgan recently took the helm of NBC’s new competition series “Destination X”. The show brings together 10 strangers from diverse backgrounds to compete in challenges that test their navigation skills, teamwork, and strategy. With no personal digital devices allowed, contestants must rely on each other for clues to find their location.
Hosted by Morgan, who is known for his role as the villainous Negan in “The Walking Dead”, the competition takes place across Europe with a bus journey between postcard-worthy locations. Contestants are divided into teams and compete in challenges that often involve puzzles, riddles, and physical tasks.
In an interview, reality TV veteran Josh Martinez revealed that “Destination X” is the hardest show he’s done, citing the lack of personal space and the need for constant alliances and gameplay. The competition also features players with unique backgrounds, such as flight attendant and lawyer Tai, who has traveled extensively, and Biggy, a sports bettor from Chattanooga.
Morgan spoke about the human relationships that form during the journey, saying it’s amazing to see how they impact gameplay. He also discussed the show’s challenges, stating that “the roller-coaster ride we put these people through is extraordinary.” With its unique format and blend of competition and drama, “Destination X” promises to be an exciting watch for fans of reality TV.
