Jerry Jones, the owner of the Dallas Cowboys, has been talking about his new Netflix docuseries titled “America’s Team: The Gambler and His Cowboys.” The teaser trailer was released on Monday, giving fans a glimpse into the upcoming project.
According to Jerry Jones, the documentary has been in the works for two years. He described how his experience in oil and gas prepared him for the NFL, saying that he had to adapt to changing circumstances and make tough decisions quickly. “You’ve got to take the news in your left ear that’s negative and without your voice breaking, get over on the right one and talk positive,” Jones said.
The docuseries will show Jerry Jones’ rise to his current role as a prominent figure in sports. Stephen Jones, the Cowboys’ chief operating officer, described it as an opportunity for viewers to see what his father has accomplished as an entrepreneur and Hall of Fame owner. The documentary includes footage of hundreds of hours of taping of Jerry Jones Sr.’s journey, including stories about his business ventures and impact on the NFL.
The docuseries is expected to premiere soon, although a specific release date has not been announced. Netflix also released another documentary series on the Dallas Cowboys Cheerleaders titled “America’s Sweethearts” in June, which was renewed for a second season.
