Eisenberg’s comments suggest he is concerned about how Zuckerberg and other tech billionaires are using their wealth, particularly in relation to their support for President Trump. The Facebook CEO and other top tech leaders attended Trump’s inauguration earlier this month, marking a significant shift in the industry’s politics.
The actor’s remarks also highlight the perception that some tech executives are more focused on currying favor with powerful figures rather than prioritizing social responsibility. As Eisenberg put it, “These people have billions upon billions of dollars, and what are they doing with it?”
