JetBlue Pilot Arrested Before Paris Flight for Sex Exploitation Charge

A JetBlue pilot, Jeremy Gudorf, 33, was arrested at Boston Logan International Airport just before his flight to Paris. He faces charges of second-degree sexual exploitation of a minor from North Carolina and fugitive from justice in Massachusetts. Federal authorities discovered the warrant during a standard review of the flight’s manifest.

Gudorf was detained on board the plane at around 8:40pm on Thursday and arraigned in East Boston District Court, where prosecutors asked for bail to be denied due to his financial capacity. His defense attorney stated that Gudorf has no past criminal record and understands the seriousness of the charges.

The judge set Gudorf’s bail at $10,000 with the condition that he appears in North Carolina by Tuesday to clear the warrant. JetBlue has placed him on indefinite leave as law enforcement proceeds with the matter. The investigation revealed that Google provided records of the source of reported images linked to Gudorf during an extensive investigation.

Gudorf was charged after a tip from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children in October, which led to his identification as a suspect. The case originated in Huntersville, North Carolina, where he resided at the time of the alleged crime but relocated before being identified as a suspect.
