Fitness trainer and TV personality Jillian Michaels has threatened to sue Netflix, Bob Harper, and Dr. Robert Huizenga over claims made in the new “Biggest Loser” documentary that she secretly administered caffeine pills to contestants.
Michaels is meeting with attorney Bryan Freedman to discuss her options, including taking on Netflix, Harper, and Huizenga in court. She claims the allegations are a lie and has evidence to back it up, including emails showing that caffeine was approved for use on the show like Ambien and smokeless tobacco.
The controversy surrounding Michaels’ alleged actions on “Biggest Loser” comes as her new documentary series is set to premiere on Netflix. Michaels has refused to comment further on the matter, but is clearly ready for a fight.
