NBA star Jimmy Butler has expressed his admiration for the Golden State Warriors, calling them “better than any other organization he’s been a part of.” The 32-year-old forward recently signed a two-year, $121 million extension with the team, set to keep him through the 2026-27 season.
Since joining the Warriors in February, Butler has impressed with his performance, averaging 20.0 points, 5.7 rebounds, and 5.5 assists per game. He’s also become a key contributor in free-throw shooting, earning 9.2 attempts per game for one of the worst teams in this area.
Butler credits the Warriors’ well-defined roles and cohesion as a key factor in his success. “Everybody knows their role, and they know where the ball is supposed to go,” he said. “That’s a huge difference-maker.” The team has gone 5-1 since Butler’s debut, helping push them into a playoff spot.
The Warriors will look to solidify their position as Western Conference contenders on Tuesday night against the Charlotte Hornets.
