Jobs Most Vulnerable to AI Replacement Identified by Microsoft

Microsoft has published a study identifying occupations most likely to be replaced by artificial intelligence (AI). The jobs with high AI applicability scores include teaching, advising, writing, and customer service roles. Interpreters, translators, historians, and sales representatives are also at risk.

The study highlights that while AI can learn technical skills, it cannot replicate human emotions and empathy. Human workers bring unique qualities to their jobs, which AI systems currently lack. Microsoft’s findings emphasize the need for employees in these fields to be aware of AI’s growing impact.

However, the tech giant notes that even if AI replaces some jobs, it will not replace work with human feelings and soul. As AI continues to advance, manual labor may become increasingly important to supplement income. The study serves as a reminder that while AI is transforming industries, it has limitations in replacing human workers entirely.
