Joe Rogan Mocks Katy Perry’s Brief Blue Origin Space Flight

Comedian Joe Rogan poked fun at singer Katy Perry’s recent all-women Blue Origin space flight on his podcast, “The Joe Rogan Experience.” The crew spent 11 minutes in space, reaching an altitude of 65 miles above Earth. While some have praised the mission as a step forward for women in space exploration, Rogan sarcastically questioned the significance of their achievement.

Perry, along with six other women, flew on Blue Origin’s 11th human flight on April 14. The group included former NASA rocket scientist Aisha Bowe and filmmaker Kerianne Flynn. After their brief trip, Perry shared that she felt a strong connection to love after singing “What a Wonderful World” during the flight.

Rogan jokingly referred to Perry as a “guru” and said her experience was not as profound as it seemed. He also mocked her claim of being interested in astrophysics, saying she brought a daisy to represent her daughter instead of sharing any meaningful findings from the trip.

Other celebrities have also criticized the mission, including Olivia Munn and Emily Ratajkowski, who argued that resources were wasted on the flight given the company’s environmental impact. However, Perry maintained that the experience was life-changing and connected her to love.
