Nine Inch Nails drummer Josh Freese is set to reunite with the band, marking his return after a nearly 15-year absence. In a statement, Freese shared his excitement about rejoining the group, citing the intense energy and pride he experienced during his initial stint from 2005-2008.
Freese previously toured with Weezer, Paramore, Sublime with Rome, and Foo Fighters before being let go by the latter in 2023. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to work with Foo Fighters but stated that being part of Nine Inch Nails’ dynamic once again feels “amazing.”
Nine Inch Nails will resume the Peel It Back tour on August 6 in Oakland, California, with Freese behind the drums. The six-week tour will conclude on September 19 in Los Angeles. Fans can expect an unforgettable experience at these shows.
