New England Patriots defensive coordinator Mike Vrabel is considering Josh McDaniels as his top choice to replace him as offensive coordinator. A source close to the situation says McDaniels’ return would be “definitely a possibility”. The two have a good working relationship, and McDaniels’ tenure with the Patriots from 2001-2008 and 2012-2020 speaks for itself, including six Super Bowl wins. Although Vrabel will also consider other candidates, it’s no surprise that McDaniels is a top contender for the role.
