A federal judge has ruled that the Trump administration cannot withhold money approved for states to build charging networks for electric vehicles, citing constitutional and statutory authority violations. US District Judge Tana Lin granted a preliminary injunction, allowing Colorado and other 15 states to proceed with their plans. The ruling comes after President Donald Trump paused the $5 billion National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure program on his first day in office, citing concerns over consumer choice in vehicles.
