Amazon MGM Studios has locked in a prime awards season slot for Luca Guadagnino’s thriller feature, “After the Hunt”, set to release on October 10 in limited theaters before expanding nationwide on October 17. The film stars Julia Roberts alongside Ayo Edebiri, Andrew Garfield, Michael Stuhlbarg, and Chloë Sevigny.
Guadagnino helmed the movie from a script by Nora Garrett, while Universal’s “The Black Phone 2” and Lionsgate’s “Good Fortune”, starring Keanu Reeves and Seth Rogen, are also set for nationwide release on October 17. Roberts recently collaborated with Guadagnino on the Netflix thriller “Leave the World Behind”. The film marks a reunion between Guadagnino and Amazon MGM Studios, which released his Zendaya-led film “Challengers” last year.
