Born on July 27, 1968, in Sydney, Australia, McMahon began his career as a model before becoming an actor. He starred in Australian soap operas and appeared in TV series such as “Profiler” and “Charmed,” as well as films like “Wet and Wild Summer” and “The Surfer.”
McMahon is best known for playing villain Victor Von Doom in the superhero movies “Fantastic Four” and “Fantastic Four: Rise of the Silver Surfer.” He also starred in the crime series “FBI: Most Wanted” and appeared in other notable films like “Paranoia,” “You’re Not You,” and “Swinging Safari.”
McMahon was previously married to Australian singer Dannii Minogue and actress Brooke Burns, with whom he shares a daughter. He most recently tied the knot with Kelly Paniagua in 2014.
The actor’s final red carpet appearance was on March 10, 2025, in Austin, Texas, where he promoted “The Surfer” at the SXSW Film & TV Festival.
