Justin Truman, previously general manager for Destiny 2 and chief development officer, has been appointed as the new studio head at Bungie. In a statement, Truman expressed his commitment to supporting the team and working together to continue pouring hearts into Bungie’s worlds. The move comes during a challenging time for the company, marked by recent layoffs of over 200 employees following a “quality miss” with Destiny 2’s Lightfall expansion and a lawsuit filed against former creative director.
