The NFL is investigating allegations of misconduct against Baltimore Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, who has been accused by 16 massage therapists from eight high-end spas in the Baltimore area. The league has sent investigators to Baltimore and begun speaking to those women, with three already sharing their stories.
According to reports, multiple women have come forward alleging that Tucker exposed himself, touched them inappropriately, and left a substance on the massage table during sessions between 2012 and 2016. The NFL plans to look into these “serious” allegations, which are outside of the legal statute of limitations.
Commissioner Roger Goodell stated that the league was unaware of the alleged behavior until it was reported by the Baltimore Banner in January. This is similar to a case involving Cleveland Browns quarterback Deshaun Watson, who was suspended 11 games and fined $5 million after multiple women accused him of sexual assault and misconduct during massage therapy sessions.
Tucker has released a statement denying the allegations as “unequivocally false,” but his representatives have referred back to this statement without providing new information. The investigation is ongoing, with two more accusers set to be interviewed in the coming weeks.
