The NFL has launched an investigation into allegations of sexual misconduct against Ravens kicker Justin Tucker, with three women already speaking with investigators and two more set to do so. A total of 16 massage therapists from high-end Baltimore-area spas have made claims of inappropriate behavior towards Tucker, all of which occurred between 2012 and 2016.
Tucker has denied the allegations, stating they are “unequivocally false” and calling them “desperate tabloid fodder.” He also released a statement saying the initial article published by Baltimore Banner “takes innocuous or ambiguous interactions and skews them so out of proportion that they are no longer recognizable.”
The NFL commissioner, Roger Goodell, has acknowledged the seriousness of the allegations and stated that Tucker is taking the accusations seriously. The league’s personal conduct policy could come into play if discipline is imposed.
Tucker, 35, is a highly respected player who is also known for his professionalism on and off the field. However, the allegations have raised concerns about his past behavior towards women in professional settings.
