K-Pop Super group NJZ to Pause Activities Amid Court Ruling

K-Pop supergroup NJZ has announced that they may be taking an extended break from performances after a Seoul court granted their former management company, Ador, a preliminary injunction. The five-member group made this announcement during a show at ComplexCon Hong Kong on Sunday (March 23) night.

The decision comes as the result of a long-standing dispute between NJZ and Ador over issues including Hybe’s alleged role in forcing out NewJeans’ mentor, Min Hee-Jin. In February, NJZ announced that they were changing their name to NJZ after being added to the ComplexCon bill.

During their performance at ComplexCon, NJZ read a heartfelt letter addressing their fans, stating that “this might be our last performance for a little while” due to the court’s decision. The group expressed gratitude to their fans and promised to continue making music despite this challenging time.

The news has left many fans disappointed but also supportive of the group’s decision. NJZ’s merch booth at ComplexCon sold out in just one hour, highlighting the strong fanbase and dedication of the group.

NJZ will be pausing all activities for now, taking a step back to gather their hearts and themselves before moving forward. Despite this setback, the group remains committed to continuing their music career and promises to meet again soon.
