Kanye West has publicly criticized Kid Cudi for testifying against Diddy in his sex trafficking trial. In a recent post on X, West expressed regret over Cudi’s decision to give evidence against the Bad Boy Records boss, calling it “a mistake.” West also expressed support for Diddy and his family, stating that they need to “not be locked in white systems.”
The criticism from West comes after Young Thug also dissed Cudi as a “rat” for testifying on the stand. This is not an isolated incident, as Cudi was subpoenaed to testify about his brief relationship with Cassie in 2011. According to Cudi’s testimony, Diddy once broke into his Los Angeles home and caused damage to his property.
Cudi testified that after discovering Diddy had broken into his home, he spoke with the record executive on the phone and later found evidence of forced entry at his residence, including damaged Christmas presents intended for his family. He also stated that his dog was injured in the incident and became “jittery and on edge” afterwards.
The rapper filed a police report following the alleged break-in and also claimed that Diddy had blown up his Porsche, a claim the producer denied during a private conversation. Kid Cudi has yet to respond to West’s comments, leaving it unclear how he will react to the public criticism.
