James noted that Kate displayed “flickering, animated body language,” similar to her late mother-in-law Princess Diana’s approach to public engagements. This is a significant change from the more guarded demeanor Kate showed in the past.
The expert praises Kate’s “smiles, laughter, posture, and energy signals” as good signs for her recovery. However, James also highlighted Kate’s increased emotional range, including “stronger and more confident-looking projections of empathy.” For instance, when telling a story about her kids Prince Louis and Princess Charlotte, Kate used mime rituals to convey emotions.
This shift in body language suggests that Kate is becoming more emotionally confident and less careful in her public appearances.
