Katy Perry was performing as part of her Lifetimes Tour in San Francisco when a giant butterfly prop she rode malfunctioned, causing it to jerk and drop suddenly mid-air. The singer, who was rigging for her 2013 hit “Roar”, stopped singing but managed to regain her balance and composure, before continuing the performance. This incident is the second major tour mishap this summer, following a flying car prop that malfunctioned during Beyoncé’s Cowboy Carter tour in Houston last month.
