Kelly Clarkson Celebrates 1,000 Episodes with Emotional Monologue

Kelly Clarkson has reached a major milestone on her daytime talk show, marking 1,000 episodes since its premiere on Sept. 9, 2019. The singer and TV host reflected on the show’s journey, sharing stories of talented guests, inspiring everyday heroes, and overcoming personal challenges.

During Thursday’s episode, Clarkson shared a poignant monologue that looked back at the past five-and-a-half years. She noted that the show has navigated significant events, including a global pandemic and a cross-country move from Los Angeles to New York City.

Clarkson also poked fun at her own lack of culinary skills, joking that she still can’t cook despite proclaiming her love for magic tricks. However, she emphasized the importance of community, praising her crew, house band Y’all, and the people who have made a positive impact through the show’s Rad Humans segment.

The singer expressed gratitude to her team and audience, saying, “We started with the intention of making connections and bringing people together, and it feels like we’ve been doing just that.” To celebrate 1,000 episodes, Clarkson performed a pre-taped Kellyoke version of Whitney Houston’s hit song “I Have Nothing.” The milestone marks an incredible achievement in building a community and sharing inspiring stories.
