Brad Keselowski’s 2025 season has been marked by what-could-have-beens, and Saturday evening at EchoPark Speedway was no exception. The No. 6 RFK Racing driver settled for a runner-up finish after being passed by Chase Elliott on the final lap.
The intense racing was evident from the start, with aggressive moves made throughout the field to move toward the front. However, the heat caused many drivers to struggle with their cars, leading to a massive wreck involving 23 cars at Lap 76. Keselowski was fortunate to avoid the chaos and continued to battle with a smaller lead pack.
Despite being among the leaders for most of the race, Keselowski’s chances were ultimately derailed by Elliott’s late surge. The driver acknowledged that he couldn’t cover Elliott’s momentum, which had been fueled by the No. 48 team behind him.
The loss is another setback for Keselowski, who remains outside the playoff bubble despite a strong showing at Atlanta. However, the team will look to bounce back at the Chicago Street Course next Sunday.
