Nurmagomedov spoke about McGregor’s woes in a Q&A session, stating that while McGregor’s past behavior may be seen as punishment, he also believes Allah gives people a second chance. The Russian fighter wishes for McGregor to change and hopes it will positively impact not just his own life but also the lives of others.
The two fighters have a long history of animosity, with McGregor’s team attacking Nurmagomedov’s bus in 2018. Despite this, Nurmagomedov still feels McGregor can change his ways and turn his life around. McGregor had expressed interest in a rematch with Nurmagomedov, but the Russian retired after their 2020 fight.
