Reality TV stars Khloé Kardashian and Kris Jenner are planning to raise $10 million for their new business venture, Khloud. The company has already raised $4.49 million since its launch last month.
Khloud is reportedly working on a range of products, including popcorn, granola, and protein supplements. The business will be led by Bryan Baum, a serial entrepreneur and CEO of K5 Global, which the Kardashian-Jenner family are affiliated with.
Co-founder Michael Kives has close ties to the Kardashian-Jenner family and has also been linked to high-profile investors such as Sam Bankman-Fried. Kives has introduced influential people like Katy Perry and President Bill Clinton to potential clients for his companies.
Industry experts are speculating that Khloud will be a protein popcorn brand, but the company’s exact plans remain unclear. The business has filed trademarks with attorney K5 Global and representatives from Khloé Kardashian have been approached by TechCrunch for comment.
