Kia has unveiled its smallest electric vehicle concept, the EV2, which is expected to go into production by 2026. The subcompact SUV boasts a unique design with organic shapes and curves, setting it apart from other Kia models. Its interior features a minimalist vibe but may be toned down for production.
The EV2’s rear bench can fold up, creating an open space for occupants to stretch their legs while parked. With its ultra-compact dimensions, the vehicle feels larger than expected inside. However, details on its battery and powertrain setup remain scarce.
Production is set to ride on Kia’s 400-volt front-wheel-drive E-GMP platform, allowing it to charge from 10% to 80% in approximately 29 minutes. The EU launch price is estimated at 30,000 euros, but the US release remains uncertain.
