“Killing Satoshi” Film to Use AI for Backgrounds, Actors’ Performances

A new film called “Killing Satoshi” is set to be released and it’s using a unique approach to filmmaking. The movie, directed by Doug Liman, will be shot entirely with artificial intelligence (AI) background on a special stage. This means there won’t be any on-location shooting.

The AI technology will also help tweak actors’ performances, adjusting their lip, facial, and body movements as needed. The goal is to reduce the need for reshoots. Ryan Kavanagh, the film’s producer, says this approach is being used to make filmmaking more efficient while protecting jobs.

Casey Affleck and Pete Davidson star in the film about Bitcoin’s creator. The screenplay comes from Nick Schenk, who wrote Eastwood’s “Gran Torino” and “The Mule”. The story follows a shadowy global network intent on silencing the truth about Bitcoin’s mysterious creator.

Bitcoin’s creator, Nakamoto, remains an enigma since its emergence in 2009. Some see Nakamoto as a visionary, while others view them as a threat to governments and institutions. If still alive, Nakamoto would be one of the wealthiest people on the planet.

The use of AI in this film is a surprise twist that raises questions about the future of filmmaking. The upcoming SAG-AFTRA negotiations may take interest in this approach.
