Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is celebrating a major milestone in her career as she completes her law studies after six years. The ceremony took place in her backyard, with friends and family in attendance.
Kardashian, who started the program with “nothing but a fierce desire to fight for justice,” has dedicated an impressive 5,184 hours of legal study over the past six years. This time was carved out from raising four children, running businesses, filming TV shows, and advocating for others in courtrooms.
The reality star’s advocacy work in criminal justice has resulted in several notable releases, including Alice Marie Johnson, a nonviolent drug offender whose sentence Kardashian advocated to have reduced. President Trump commuted Johnson’s sentence in 2020 after Kardashian encouraged the move in 2018.
Kardashian was joined by her friends and family during the backyard graduation ceremony, where she displayed her completed law studies certificate on stage. A photo of her late father, Robert Kardashian, who worked on OJ Simpson’s trial, was also included in a slide celebrating her achievement.
