Kim Kardashian may have one lingering regret from her short-lived marriage to Kris Humphries. In an episode of “The Kardashians,” the SKIMS founder, now 44, reflected on her three engagement rings. She reminisced about her first ring, a cushion cut 14-karat diamond, given by her ex-husband Damon Thomas during their four-year marriage.
Kim also discussed her second engagement ring, an 18-karat emerald-cut diamond from Lorraine Schwartz, which Humphries proposed with. However, she revealed that she gave the ring away to be released from their divorce due to pregnancy and a condition set by Humphries, claiming he contributed a fifth of its value.
Her sister Khloé Kardashian joked about Kim giving Humphries a call after Khloé reunited with her ex-husband Lamar Odom, saying “Get all the ex-husbands on here.” In 2021, Kim admitted to feeling pressured into her marriage due to filming for Keeping Up with the Kardashians and now acknowledges she handled their breakup incorrectly.
Kim regrets how she ended their relationship, stating that she needs to apologize to Humphries. Despite this, the family has learned from past experiences and grown stronger as a result of them.
