Reality TV star Kim Kardashian is speaking out about her short-lived marriage to former NBA player Kris Humphries, claiming he refused to divorce her unless she returned his 20.5-carat engagement ring, which she allegedly paid for.
The Skims founder says Humphries demanded the return of the diamond during their divorce proceedings in 2013, despite Kim having purchased it after just six months of dating. According to Kardashian, Humphries contributed a fifth of its value when he proposed, but insisted on taking it back later.
Kardashian has previously spoken about how she stopped wearing her engagement rings publicly after being robbed at gunpoint in Paris in 2016. The star says she still treasures some of her past engagement rings, including one from her first husband, Damon Thomas.
