Kim Kardashian Robbery Trial: Two Defendants Confess to Crime

Two defendants in Kim Kardashian’s robbery trial have confessed to their roles in the crime, despite struggling with confessions and explanations during the proceedings. Aomar Aït Khedache, 69, was found to have DNA linking him to the operation as its mastermind, admitting to holding Kardashian hostage and stealing her jewelry.

Yunice Abbas, who has Parkinson’s disease, was the first to be questioned after surveillance footage showed him falling from a bicycle at 3 am on October 3, 2016. Abbas claimed he had suffered a flat tire, but investigators discovered €65,000 in cash at his home and his son’s house. Notably, Abbas revealed that before being stopped by police, he had made a surrender gesture, which was misinterpreted as a greeting.

While two other defendants have confessed, eight others remain silent or deny any involvement in the crime. The court will take all confessions, denials, and explanations into consideration during deliberation.
