Warhorse Studios’ medieval Europe action RPG sequel, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, has achieved a massive success just one day after its launch on February 4 across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The game sold over one million copies, taking the top spot on Steam’s most-played games list.
On Valve’s platform, the game reached a peak of 159,351 concurrent players, with the actual number expected to grow as it enters its first weekend of sales. Although console player numbers are not publicly available, Warhorse Studios called the game a “triumph” in a tweet, suggesting it has exceeded expectations.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 is currently the top-selling game on Steam by revenue globally, ahead of popular titles like Counter-Strike 2 and Civilization 7. IGN’s review praised the game with a score of 9/10, highlighting its excellent melee combat and exceptional story.
