Kirby Air Ride Pre-Orders Live, $70 Price Confirmed

Nintendo has confirmed that Kirby Air Ride pre-orders are live on the Nintendo eShop, with a price of $70. The game is set to launch on November 20, 2025, for the Switch 2 console. This announcement comes after Nintendo’s latest Direct presentation, which showcased various modes and tracks in the game.

The company has also hinted at a variable pricing model for its upcoming games, citing examples like Mario Kart World ($80) and Drag x Drive ($20). However, it remains to be seen whether Kirby Air Ride will follow suit.

Kirby Air Ride is a highly anticipated sequel to the original Kirby Air Ride, released in 2003. Its director, Masahiro Sakurai, is taking a break from the Super Smash Bros. series, which may have contributed to the game’s delayed release.

The Nintendo Switch 2 line-up for 2025 has been largely confirmed, with Kirby and the Forgotten Land – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition arriving on August 28 and Pokémon Legends: Z-A – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition launching on October 16. The long-awaited Metroid Prime 4: Beyond is still shrouded in uncertainty, with a vague 2025 launch window.

The game’s release will be the next major addition to the Switch 2 console’s lineup, following Mario Kart World and Drag x Drive earlier this year.
