Knicks Crush Celtics 119-81 in Thrilling Game 6 Victory

The New York Knicks have silenced their doubters with a resounding 119-81 victory over the Boston Celtics in Game 6, securing their spot in the Eastern Conference finals for the first time since 2000. The decisive win marked the largest margin of victory in franchise postseason history.

After two improbable comebacks against the Celtics earlier in the series, the Knicks’ ability to shut down their opponents was put to the test. However, they proved more than capable of handling the pressure, with captain Jalen Brunson leading the charge.

The second quarter was a defining moment for the Knicks, as they outscored Boston 38-17 and took a 27-point lead at halftime. A crucial block by Deuce McBride on Derrick White set off a five-point swing for New York, with Josh Hart hitting a floater to seal the deal.

Despite struggling physically, Kristaps Porzingis still managed to contribute to the win. Four Knicks players – Brunson, Hart, OG Anunoby, and Karl-Anthony Towns – finished with at least 20 points.

Coach Tom Thibodeau hailed his team’s performance as their best postseason showing so far, while players emphasized that there is still more work to be done. “We played hard and handled business,” said Mikal Bridges, who joined the team during the offseason.
