Konami is set to bring its critically acclaimed Game Boy Advance game Ninja Five-O to the PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 next month. Originally released in 2003, the retro-style ninja platformer will be available on February 25.
The game follows Joe Osugi as he takes on a terrorist organization influenced by mythical masks in Zipangu city. Players can utilize various sword strikes, shuriken throws, and grappling-hook attack combinations to stop train hijackings, bank robberies, and more.
Ninja Five-O features several new additions to modernize the game, including Time Trial Mode and accessibility features such as save states and a rewind feature. These updates aim to make the game more appealing to both old and new fans.
The original Ninja Five-O received favorable reviews upon its release in 2003, with an average score of around 8/10 on Metacritic. This classic platformer is part of Konami’s efforts to revive its Game Boy Advance library on modern platforms, including PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, and PC.
In contrast, the recent Yu-Gi-Oh! Early Days Collection will be available only on Nintendo Switch and PC, releasing on February 27, 2025.
