Kraft Announces Patriots Coaching Search Process Details

Patriots owner Robert Kraft is moving forward with the team’s coaching search, aiming to find a suitable replacement for Jerod Mayo. Kraft expressed his desire to get it right and not rush into a decision.

Kraft will oversee the search process alongside executive vice president of player personnel Eliot Wolf and senior personnel executive Alonzo Highsmith. The owner believes the personnel department made progress last season and plans to build on that momentum.

While Kraft didn’t specify a particular trait or candidate, he emphasized the importance of finding someone who can connect with players and have a strong team behind them. The search will involve extensive interviews, with multiple candidates under consideration.

Kraft declined to comment on reports linking the Patriots to popular candidates Mike Vrabel and Ben Johnson, citing the need to evaluate all potential options thoroughly.
