Lady Gaga has teased the release of her highly anticipated seventh studio album, “Mayhem,” with an announcement dropped via billboards in New York and Las Vegas. The album, which features previously released tracks like “Disease” and “Die With a Smile,” marks a creative reimagining of the singer’s career, inspired by overcoming personal fears. Produced by Gaga, Michael Polansky, and Andrew Watt, with additional contributions from Cirkut and Gesaffelstein, the 14-track project is set to drop on March 7.
Gaga will debut the third single and its music video on February 2 during a commercial break at the 2025 Grammy Awards. The full tracklist remains under wraps but promises a mix of genres and emotional depth. Ahead of the Grammys, she plans performances in Los Angeles benefiting those affected by wildfires, as well as a Coachella headlining gig in April.
Reflecting on “Mayhem,” Gaga described it as a celebration of her love for music, blending diverse styles into an cohesive whole that ends with peace and love. The album represents a journey through chaos, concluding with hope after overcoming past regrets. Since 2020, this will be her first full-length effort since “Chromatica,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard 200.
