Tennessee is well-represented at the 2025 McDonald’s All-American game with three signees – Mia Pauldo, Deniya Prawl, and Jaida Civil – selected for the 48th edition. The trio will compete on the East Team, with Pauldo confident that her team will secure wins.
Pauldo, ranked No. 11 in the class, emphasized the team’s determination to succeed at the next level. “We believe we’re the best players out there,” she said. “I feel that’s what Tennessee represents.” The five-star point guard highlighted the importance of strong defense in Caldwell’s style, which relies on pressing for 40 minutes.
Civil, a four-star prospect ranked No. 32, looks forward to playing with Pauldo and Prawl at Tennessee. Despite differing playing styles, they share a common drive. “We’re all dogs,” Civil said. “That’s what it comes down to.”
Prawl, also a five-star signee, believes the trio complements Caldwell’s style well. The high-pressure defense is key, but so is a fast-paced offense with many 3-pointers. Prawl praised her fellow players’ unique skills and looks forward to working together.
Tennessee’s 2025 class is ranked No. 2 in the nation, with all five signees set to join Lady Vols basketball.
