Lakers Thrash Grizzlies with LeBron, Doncic, Reaves’ 85-Point Performance

The Los Angeles Lakers secured a crucial 134-127 win over the Memphis Grizzlies, thanks in large part to a historic performance from their trio of stars, LeBron James, Luka Doncic, and Austin Reaves. The three combined for an incredible 85 points and 25 assists, dominating the final six minutes of the game to seal the victory.

With this win, the Lakers have taken control of the No. 4 seed in the Western Conference, although they remain 1.5 games behind the Denver Nuggets for the top spot. The Grizzlies, meanwhile, remain in fifth place, but are only 1.5 games ahead of the Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Clippers, who are tied for sixth.

Lakers coach J.J. Redick praised his trio’s performance, saying they were able to play with “a little more force and a little more thrust” during their three-man actions in the fourth quarter. The team’s offense was particularly strong, according to Redick.

The Grizzlies, meanwhile, have struggled of late, losing five of their last six games. With two tough matchups against the Boston Celtics and Golden State Warriors coming up next, they will need to get back on track quickly or risk falling further behind in the playoff race.
