Lamar Jackson Shatters Record as NFL’s Fastest Quarterback

Lamar Jackson broke a record on Christmas Day, becoming the all-time leading rusher at the quarterback position in the Baltimore Ravens’ 31-2 win over the Houston Texans.

With 6,110 rushing yards, Jackson surpassed Mike Vick’s mark of 6,109. The achievement came in the third quarter of the game, when Jackson scampered six yards for a touchdown. The play, which clocked out at 21.25 miles per hour, is also the fastest speed recorded by a quarterback in his career.

Jackson’s dominance on the field was evident throughout the contest, as he frustrated the Texans’ defense and picked up valuable yards with his feet. He completed 10 of 15 passes and tossed two touchdowns, demonstrating his ability to make plays with both his arm and legs.

The 27-year-old quarterback set the record in just 102 career games, 41 fewer than Vick’s time. With the playoffs approaching, Jackson is now poised for a chance to add more yards to his tally and make a push for the Super Bowl.
