‘Landman’ Returns to Downtown Fort Worth for Season 2 Filming

Taylor Sheridan’s “Landman” is returning to downtown Fort Worth for season 2 filming, with production set to close streets on Taylor and West Sixth streets May 1-2. The Paramount+ show will film driving scenes on these streets during this time.

Despite the street closures, businesses in the area will remain open, and Fort Worth police will be present to facilitate traffic. This is not the first time filming has taken place in downtown Fort Worth; interior scenes were filmed at 777 Taylor St. just a few weeks ago.

The production’s road closure schedule includes:

* May 1: Taylor Street between West Fifth and West Sixth streets (7 am-11 pm) and West Sixth Street between Throckmorton and Lamar streets (6-8 pm)
* May 2: Taylor Street between West Fifth and West Sixth streets (7 am-1 am)

Residents with nearby garages are advised to follow specific exit routes during the closures. The filming will take place at the Frost Tower parking garage, located inside 640 Taylor St.

“Landman” is a modern-day tale of fortune seeking in the world of West Texas oil rigs, starring Billy Bob Thornton and co-created by Sheridan and Christian Wallace. Season 1 premiered on Paramount+ in November 2024 and wrapped up its 10-episode run on January 12, 2025.
