June Lockhart, the beloved star of ‘Lassie’ and ‘Lost in Space,’ has passed away at the age of 100. The actress played farm wife Ruth Martin on ‘Lassie’ from 1958 to 1964 and later portrayed Maureen Robinson, mother of the Robinson family on the sci-fi series ‘Lost in Space.’ Lockhart was known for her kindness and strong personality off-screen as well. She died peacefully at home with her family by her side, surrounded by news she loved reading daily.
